  • Year: 2025
  • Place:HARA Hiroshi + Atelier Phi, Tokyo, Japan

The exhibition was held at the HARA Hiroshi + Atelier Phi/Tokyo, the lifelong base of the architect Hiroshi Hara, who passed away in January 2025 at the age of 88. For over twenty years in his later life, this was the place where he conceived and designed numerous architectural projects, deepened his theoretical inquiries, hosted musical gatherings, and welcomed guests with his cooking. In late summer 2025, within this ivy-covered site where time seemed suspended, we presented an exhibition centered on Rintaro Hara’s installation “Ascending and Descending_Φ”, alongside representative works from Yu Hara’s “Flying Classroom series.
