An installation created during the residency at Fuchu Art Museum. Colorful styrofoam balls traversed along nylon threads across the space, passing through hanging picture frames. Mirrors, lenses, and tinted plastic film incorporated into these frames altered the appearance of the running spheres. The noise of friction between the balls and threads was picked up through the contact microphones attached to the threads. There was also a pulley spooling plastic chains up and down, and a piece made with transparent film releasing a thunder-like sound as it flapped in the wind, as components of the whole installation.
